reComputer RK3576 Module Dev Kit Introduction

Last updated:

The reComputer RK3576 Module Series is a versatile and modular development platform powered by the Rockchip RK3576 octa-core processor, featuring a built-in 6 TOPS NPU for edge AI acceleration. Designed for embedded Linux, industrial automation, robotics, and intelligent IoT applications, the series offers a flexible foundation for developers to move from initial prototyping to customized product development.

The series includes the RK3576 Module, IO Board, and Module Dev Kit, providing flexible options for different development needs. The compact compute module is ideal for integration into custom hardware, while the IO Board exposes interfaces such as HDMI, MIPI CSI/DSI, USB, Gigabit Ethernet, GPIO, and M.2 expansion. The complete Dev Kit combines the module and IO Board, allowing developers to quickly evaluate hardware capabilities, develop applications, and validate prototypes.

For more demanding AI workloads, the Module Dev Kit with RK1820 AI Accelerator adds a dedicated 20 TOPS AI accelerator with 2.5GB on-chip DRAM, enabling advanced applications such as local Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision Language Models (VLMs), computer vision, and multimodal AI. With Armbian support and the reComputer AI Lab ecosystem, the series provides a practical development platform for a wide range of edge AI projects.
